Katherine Salje is a photographic artist, she lives in the UK with her three children and husband. After working as a social and behavioural scientist with vulnerable women in the USA, she rediscovered her love of the photographic form. Katherine is inspired by women’s individual and collective experiences, and draws inspiration from her own journey as a mother in her creative process. Her work looks to explore the fragilities and beauty in all stages of life, but primarily through the lens of childhood and motherhood. Much of her imagery strives to accentuate and celebrate our relationship with the natural world. Katherine takes on commercial work as well as private clients and has had her work recognised by PhotoVogue.
